As an artist, I am interested in color. My work tends toward the Abstract Expressionist with Impressionist undertones, however, my interest is primarily in the push and pull of the colors chosen to depict the landscape imagery. I want the landscapes to pop with saturated color so that the elements in the composition have a interplay of shape, form, and layers of dimension.
